Bits 'n Pieces...

Flyboy and I had a major argument last night because one of his bosses (who has a flair for the dramatic) 'phoned a local newspaper and gave a reporter Flyboy's number - without asking anyone's permission. Anyway, the reporter was onto the story like a fly on a turd. After seeing the cops later we tried to get the story retracted because our boys in blue wanted to just hang on for a bit. Despite our efforts, we made front page news. And the argument ensued because I don't feel very safe anymore and I felt that he should have done more to prevent it being printed. Fortunately we did manage to get Flyboy's name retracted. Anyway, we didn't kill each other.

We went to the cop shop again today to go and make statements (again). It is quite interesting how much information the cops know about these creatures. And how much information we know about them as a result (insert evil laugh).

All the stress of the last few days has aggravated my dissipating 'flu and now I feel like that hefalump found me again and sat on me.

For those of you who wanted to ever be a superhero but didn't quite know your powers, here's one for you. It turns out I am Batman. With boobs and other non-man bits - go figure!

And to give credit where it is due, I found this on whatalotoffun's blogspot.

Okay, my erstwhile friend who has been popping into my dreams on a random basis has since been restored to full friendship status. Being a misfit and loner I have always been short on friends so I guess I have to culture the ones I have. Anyway, Viking and I are currently negotiating the terms of my going up north to visit. A holiday is something I haven't indulged in in over two years now and this perlemoen creature chaos has managed to step on my last unfrayed nerve.

One question remains though: Am I playing with fire?

The BANE of any South African's existence SMSed me late this afternoon to inform me that:
the television license in my name for a television I don't own and which I paid in full last year, is due at the end of the month and the amount is R720.00 odd. Two years in a row I have been to the police station, made a sworn affidavit, faxed it through to the SABC cancellations department and I get another SMS today. So, on my to do list tomorrow is to get hold of someone high up in the SABC and explain what they can do with their SMS. Watch this space, things are going to become interesting.

This is why I love your mental processes - you always get to the crux of the matter. And for my answer I am taking "The Blonde Amendment" - I am blonde so I don't know.
