Sick 'n scrapping...

I am siiiiiiiiiick! Urgh. And last night's late night is not helping. But it was for a good cause. We had a Risk night last night - anyone out there ever play Risk? Well, in a nutshell, I am officially The Annihilator. I wiped three men off the board in one evening. :-) The second time running.

And on a sour note, today dawned with another scrapbooking class on the agenda in the morning. And of course, I had to be on the receiving end of an insult. I was informed that one of the ladies isn't going to come to classes anymore because it isn't worth her while. She feels she is not learning new techniques, she is just cutting out and sticking on. Counting to ten helps, it really does.

Perhaps I shouldn't have been polite about it. Perhaps I should have explained that the pittance I receive for driving all the way out to them on a rapidly deteriorating dirt road does not even cover the wear and tear and fuel on my car. Perhaps I should have explained to them that they are cutting out and sticking on because when I do try and teach them a new technique they say "No, we want to do it this way." Okay, I am counting to ten again.

Oh, why is everything so confusing
Maybe I'm just out of my mind

A pity you can't use your Risk techniques on Madame Dropout. Seventy armies marching across her front lawn would be rather fun.

you should get them to sign a form saying "No, we want to do it this way." .. then they can't complain..
