Oh, For One Day That is All Happy!
After basking in the glow of an enjoyable night out with Kyknoord I knew I would be punished somehow for glowing like a Christmas light...
Last night before my wonderful evening Maw 'phoned, worried about my four-legged sister, Sunshine, also a Katt. It seems Sunshine had gone off her food and she was looking a bit peaky. Today she was booked into the doctor who deals with four-legged patients.
Maw just 'phoned about 15 minutes ago, crying so hard I could hardly hear what she was saying. Eventually, through sniffs and sobs, I discovered the reason for the tears. Sunshine has fluid on her chest and she only has a few weeks to live. There is nothing that can be done. So it is time to do the humane thing.
Sleep well, My Sister! Thank you for all the joy and happiness you brought into Maw and Paw's life. Please tell Luli Cat and Uli Dog they still have their spots in my heart.
Mom, sorry I can't be there with you tonight and even though you won't read this, I am thinking of you and my heart goes out to you and Dad.
I think it might be time to go home. I miss my animals!

Umbreon: Sunshine came along late in my folks' lives but she was very much their child. So yeah, I guess she was my furry little sister.

The Tart: The little critters somehow manage to get in there, don't they? And they don't ask for a hell of a lot in return for the large amounts of love they dish out!

Oh Katt, that's miserable news indeed. It's terrible to lose a friend, no matter how many legs they have.

Sorry to hear - It is alway's so sad when we loose an animal - afterall they are part of our family:-(
oh Katt... you sound sooo sad again. Very sorry to hear about Sunshine. Keep your chin up.... luckily those days are USUALLY few and far between.
However, now that you have met Kyk... you do know we will be bugging you for info :)

Thanks to all of you. Paw is taking this kind of hard. He told Maw he has lost "His dearest friend." *sigh*
